Bluebell Day

I have spent all week very confused about what day it is. Didn't care today... Today was Bluebell Day!! I look forward to going every year to see the bluebells in the woods at the far side of the big pastures we visit for our daily exercise. I'd been told by friends they were coming out nicely so we had planned for today to be our visit. I guess seeing as we have three more weeks of lockdown, I may well return to the bluebells again this year...!

Our main project of the day today was rainbow scrap bunting. We spent time this morning choosing the fabrics. I did all the cutting this afternoon when we had discovered cutting fabric is not one of Katie's skills. But she tied every single one of the many many pieces herself. I thought she'd get bored but she stuck with the whole thing. We did some hedge pruning to see about hanging it on there but decided it didn't work very well. It's now hung across one of our windows (see extra!)
