Shooting Range

As part of our Olympic Challenge, Ellie and I ventured into the unknown today and had our initiation in to the world of shooting. Everyone was lovely and we had our initial introduction, meaning that we will be able to go and shoot in a couple of weeks. Crazy. Els and I then had a wander round town before heading home.

The day changed a bit in the afternoon; it became one of those harder days that crop up out of nowhere when you're grieving, and I felt really sad and blue. For once I allowed myself the time to feel what I was feeling and quietly tucked myself away with my thoughts and a book for the rest of the day.
