What has become the most long-winded process ever accumulated in my Mum having a passport interview today. Hopefully, if she passes she'll get her passport through in ten days, and I can finally take her on her birthday trip to Paris. The questions they asked her were crazy. Apparently it's to protect her from potential identity theft, but hopefully it will be worth all the effort and expense.

The interview was in Chelmsford, so we went for lunch in the amazing A Canteen (as recommended by Ellie), and had a wander round the shops.
