Birdwatch

The birds were all sensibly hiding somewhere dry today, and not one appeared in Mum's garden for this years Birdwatch. I couldn't blame them today, but it's the second year running that we've had disappointing results in a garden that's normally overrun with birds. It was still nice spending the hour sitting under a blanket, drinking tea and chatting with Mum about our holiday plans for this year. We'd spent the morning doing a bit more sorting before a very wet trip to the tip, after which we treated ourselves to lunch in Frinton and a trip round the charity shops.
