Fieldfare

This week we have had an ever increasing population of Fieldfares accumulating on the playing fields and in the perimeter trees. Today there were nearly 100 birds on the grass in the morning and only a solitary Redwing amongst them that I could spot. Normally we just have Redwings and no Fieldfares.

Big garden bird watch today:
4 Blue tits, 2 Great tits, 2 Long-tailed tits, Blackbird, Blackcap, House Sparrow, Dunnock, 2 Magpies, 2 Feral pigeons, 12 Fieldfares and 10 Starlings
