Smew

Popped down to our 'local patch' - Barn Elms WWT
It was cold in the hides, but there was lots of activity - plenty of Garganey, Wigeon and Tufted Ducks plus a Smew which was a first for us at Barn Elms. Saw it at first from the Peacock hide but then got down to the WWF hide when it moved there and got up quite close.
Saw a Bittern from the Peacock too - but the pictures were just not good enough to blip.
