Easter

A strange one, but I guess we should be grateful for the lovely weather.

We were sent a little clip of Lucy this morning, opening her Easter egg at home. She said "I think the Easter Bunny brought me...." as Shelle helped her open the little box. When she cupped the egg in her hands, wrapped in gold paper, her little voice exclaimed "a potato!" to great guffaws of laughter from all of us! Classic! Poor Lou, I hope it doesn't become an embarrassing memory she's reminded of in future years!

It's a shame not to see her, although we FaceTime every day. I posted a little jiffy bag with a card from us and a little chick chocolate lollipop I bought her, but it didn't come in time. I also ordered a Disney sippy cup covered in princesses but it also hasn't arrived yet.

We walked the dog through the woods at 6pm, and it was still very warm. When I got home I felt really cold after the sun dropped. It's nice to get out, but I've walked consistently for the last three weeks, and the routine is not a novelty anymore.
