Nothin' doin'.....

No school or college work as it's technically the Easter holidays which feel anything but! 

I popped out for a drive this morning. Not far, but just enough to get on a long and fast road and blast some music. Just enough to maintain the sanity. 

I couldn't seem to focus properly on anything today, and thus the day got away from me. We walked Little B at 5pm, when it was a little bit cooler and it turned into a pleasant ramble. I clocked up 7.5k steps which was good as it would have been easy to give up today. 

I had my therapy session by phone in the car yesterday evening. I was about five minutes in, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw huge tufts of grey fur being swirled in the air! I had to intervene, so asked my therapist to hold on a second, whilst I jumped out of the car to literally break up a cat-fight! Poor Humphrey, the longest-serving occupant of the close has been repeatedly terrorised by the huge grey newest arrival, Henry, and I was worried he might draw blood. My squeaks gave poor Humphrey the time to slink off under a car, but Henry really only looked at me as if to say "whatever?" as he spat out handfuls of Humphrey's fur! I carried on my conversation, feeling like a bit of a fool, but we chuckled about it. 

Henry's owner must have heard the commotion and ventured out in her slippers to round the little thug up. He wasn't having any of it, and it took quite a bit of time for her to follow him and get him in.

Next time Henry, I'm telling you, I'm handing the job over to the head of security- Little B ;-) He was delighted when I produced a clump of fur for him to inspect.
