Easter flower

The magnolia we planted in the front garden last spring has come into bloom  It has one solitary flower which has long delicate pink petals which, today, have swayed in the gentle breeze.

Another warm day.  I've done some gentle digging of the back garden flower beds.  Merlin still hasn't understood that the flower beds are not a general stomping ground and so he continues to wander amongst the plants, getting his paws muddy and munching the odd stem.  I've also read a little and we watched the final of the 2019 Sky Landscape Artist of the Year Competition.  Very happy with the winner who creates the most detailed of ink drawings.
