One Last Visit With Molly and Dolly

One last trip out to the bay for me, one last sunrise in Florida. We are heading home to Michigan tomorrow morning.

Even without good light, it was SOOO exciting to be able to see an owl's nest this year. Dolly is growing so fast, and this morning she spread her little owl wings, while Mom looked at her with approval. I'd love to be able to see her first flight, but home (and Lisa's job)...are calling.

Three pictures of my favorite Florida bird are in the Extras. The elegant yet awkward-looking pelican. Like Dorothy says to the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz..."I think I'm going to miss you the most of all." 

I do love me some pelican.
