Guarding rhubarb

My blip today is of Merlin sitting at the allotment, patiently waiting and guarding the rhubarb whilst I pick spinach and herbs.  It is two years today that we collected him from Wiltshire as an eight week old puppy.

Another lovely sunny day.  For me it has mainly been a day of work.  Andy visited the local farm shop and came back with treasure, some of which we enjoyed in the form of a casserole for dinner.  My little adventure out was to the allotment with my budding vegetable growing companion!
