Hidden nest

Many years ago while walking Pickle, I looked in a large crack in a tree trunk and saw a snake eating a frog. I have always looked in similar holes and cracks in trees and never spotted anything again, that is until today when I spotted this tiny birds nest tucked up inside a crack. I was very excited to show it to the girls. The eggs were a bit smaller than a chocolate mini egg. I wonder what type of bird they may belong to.

That was our exercise walk for the day at lunch time. We walked to the part to feed the swans, but they weren't there.

We had a lazy, easy day today. I think we all needed it. I mopped the floor but didn't do much else. We played with slime, lego and did a big jigsaw of a fair ground and then played with the toys on top of that. B is still very clingy to John. I seems a bit emotional and gets stroppy easily, but I guess they still feel all over the place.

We did a zoom call with I's best friend today. She was shy and a little teary, I think she misses her dreadfully.
