Inset day

Ivy was off school as it was an inset day so I kept Bea home from preschool too. Had to do an econsult for Bea as her eye is swollen up. It was red yesterday and was worse today. Doctor called back 3 hours later and pescribed antibiotics.

We walked down to get the pescription and I realised how funny Ivy's outfit was - school dress, jeans, christmas jumper and party shoes!

The rest of the day was gardening while the girls played outside and Mum and Dad popped over for a quick coffee in the garden. Its the first time they have left their house since this all started, asides from going to get their flu jab and their first dose of covid vaccine. I'm so glad they ventured out.

Spent the evening at a friend's for an alfresco takeaway. It was really nice but very cold!
