A Square of Clare

Clare the pelican saw last Monday's blip square of the egret named Blair, and was less than thrilled. "Why did she get top billing? What's wrong with my profile?" I tried keeping my camera up to my face to curtail her rant...but she wouldn't quit.

"Give me a sec,
and I'll stretch my neck."

"I don't want to gloat,
but I have a fabulous throat."

"I wish I could speak,
to talk about my beak."

" I could make you say "ouch",
if I attacked with my pouch!"

She didn't attack, and I sauntered off.
