Four ships can be seen anchored on the horizon. One is a crude oil tanker waiting to load North Sea oil at Hound Point while the other three are the cruise liners, Balmoral, Black Watch and Boudicca.. They are laid up due to the present coronavirus crisis but I believe they will shortly take the very long route round the south of England, across the Atlantic, pass Greenland then travel north of Canada and through the Bering Strait between Russia and Alaska, finishing their journey at Anchorage. It seems a very long journey for a Norwegian owned company with cruises based from Britain cruising mainly in European waters but perhaps a blipper might know the reason.
Edit. Anchorage means lying at anchor in nearby Rosyth
