On Mother's Day it seems appropriate to show sheep with their young lambs.  The mothers with the youngest lambs seemed anxious and very protective as I tried to get a photo but mothers 39 and 42 showed no concern when their curious lambs watched through the gate as I passed.  On the nine mile walk from near Longyester via Hopes and Lammer Law (still with patches of snow)  we passed 31 people whereas normally on that hill route we would meet no more than 10 and it was easy to maintain the 2 metre social distance.  A day of good exercise and fresh air while we were able.
