One More Lovely Day

This weather is amazing me! But the forecasters are promising rain tomorrow and snow early Saturday. We need the rain at this point, and this has been a run of gorgeous sunny weather!

I did run out for groceries this morning. Figured I'd better do it now. I wanted to make sure that we had about three weeks of food in the house. So that's done. The amazing thing was that there were NO canned or dry beans and the aisle with the flu and cold remedies was wiped clean. I didn't go down the toilet tissue aisle, but I hear that's empty as well. The virus is escalating here in Oregon, more so in Washington State. The state government and city officials are starting to put restrictions on crowds and so on. Many colleges have gone to only on-line learning, and some have sent students back home. I think it's only a matter of time before the elementary and secondary schools will be closed.

Be that as it may, it was a brilliant day today and I tried to cast off the angst that too much news was bringing me. I played a game of golf after grocery shopping....where I bought this stunning Icelandic Poppy! I had it nodding away in my cart and just about everyone commented on it. I told them we needed to be happy today, and not stressed.
