The First Tulip

Another lovely day, but it's quite cold at night. Rain is expected (finally!) on Friday, with even a chance of snow early Saturday morning. That would be very strange indeed!

But the plants in the garden are in full-on spring mode. Today the first tulip opened! I looked back at last year's photos and discovered that this tulip, along with yesterday's anemone blip bloomed around March 26th...so that gives you (and me!) a sense of how early our spring is this year.
