Life in Spain - Sevilla

One of the great things about Spain is that the pastries and cakes are so good that it is almost unnecessary to eat what my granny would call 'proper' food (if she was still alive). Having said that, I started the day with a 'proper' Andalucian breakfast - strong hot white coffee, fresh orange juice, and a slice of toast drizzled with olive oil and tomato paste and topped with finely chopped ham. Having had a poor night's sleep and having eaten a dodgy sausage the day before, I didn't know whether to guzzle it or throw up but I went for the former and it worked; I felt revived.

I should add that this took place in Cordoba (see yesterday's blip). After breakfast we took the train to Sevilla, where we were blessed by a day of blue skies and cakes. Next time (for I shall be back) I'll take in a bit of the culture, specifically the flamenco.

Sevilla is beautiful, and this is a bunch of Sevillans doing what they do best - hanging out, drinking, talking and eating tapas. Sorted.
