Fremantle's answer to the pips

In the UK we can set our watches by the pips on the radio at 1pm. In Fremantle, WA, they have a system which historically involved a canon going off at 1pm. Read all about it here.

Our friend Mary, co-incidentally in this part of the world at the same time as us, showed us the sights of Fremantle today, including a brewery which OB (olib) has blipped.

Tomorrow we fly to the other side of the continent.
