Earthy Things
My latest reading book. I'm enjoying it so far. Inside the front cover a verse from Edward Thomas' poem 'Thaw' is quoted:
Over the land freckled with snow half-thawed
The speculating rooks at their nests cawed
And saw from elm-tops, delicate as flowers of grass,
What we below could not see, Winter pass.
It has been a busy day at work so I am off to bed to read and rest while Andy watches the 'Pottery Throw Down'. He tells me he fancies trying pottery but doesn't think he would be very good at it - I don't think that matters.
