Rescued

I chose the gorgeous sailboat for a dolphin and whale watching expedition this morning.

We’d only just got clear of the Marina when we were joined by two bottle nosed dolphins. We stayed awhile but we were close to the Garajau Nature Reserve and weren’t allowed any further.

A few minutes later we joined a huge pod of common dolphins feeding. They were friendly and kept jumping. Fabulous. (They are hard to capture on camera but I’ve put a couple of extras.)

Next, our lovely little sailboat broke down. 

The dolphins stayed around and we drifted a little.

Then they sent the rescue boat, with dog. The guys helped us jump into it and they speeded us safely back to dry land.

And the best news is that they’ve rebooked us to go out again next Tuesday.
