Diary of an Edinburgher

Movie afternoon

The morning was dry and sunny - just right for a doggie walk, so thank goodness Robert arrived at the appointed time, all togged up ready for a muddy walk. Which it was. And the rain just started as they came through the Hermitage so they got the bus back!

While Arch was out, I did the bike and yoga (easy chair yoga...) and JR had a gym session and gossip with her gym buddies.

Once Archie had been bathed and dried, I set off to walk round to Body Street as I had a few questions. Still haven’t decided. Actually, I just missed the bus, and walked. From there I walked on round to Brunstfield to fix up something in the bank, then it began to rain slightly, just as I was passing the French Patisserie. How convenient. And there was one slice of flan left (with my name on it).

Bus down to the Cameo to meet JR and go to the afternoon movie - Parasite. I knew it was going to end horribly, and it did. In fact, I had to check up on the IMDb (spoiler) synopsis to find out what actually did happen, as my eyes were tightly shut. Enjoyed it, up till then...

Walked home, and did record steps (7,998 - call it 8,000), so I think I earned that slice of flan.
