Time for Tamil

Today I had a Tamil lesson or at least I practised copying the letters involved in writing Tamil Selvan's name, his is the arm you can see in the picture and he found the whole thing totally hilarious. He managed to write the letters no problem. I was quite pleased at my efforts but I was only copying and could have been writing a shopping list for all I knew!!!
Today was very hot and having spent till 2.45 in school I then walked back home, which is just over 2 miles, as Raja was away today. Not my brightest idea in so much heat, 35° today! I could have picked up an auto at any time but I can be very thrawn at times! I did stop for a cold drink in one coffee shop and sat and a bit further on, I sat and ate an ice cream in the ice cream shop, two scoops, one of mango and the other a sort of tutti frutti, just what was needed. All told it took me over an hour to walk my two miles. I did a bit of washing when I got home and then chilled out till tea time.
At the moment I've still only done 8000 steps*, I'll try and up it a wee bit though by the end of the day. The evenings are often a little cooler.

*Update, managed to do some walking this evening so for the first time in a week I've managed over 12,500, 13,350 in fact so very pleased.
