old and new

Our last day in London. Max wished to visit the HMS Belfast. It was actually very impressive. The child in me is still very interested in the military technology. It was quite cool to see the analog targeting computer (see extra) and the magazine with the shell carousel and hoists was well impressive. The Belfast is massive in comparison to the Explorer but then it carried 20 times the crew of the Explorer. The similarities between the ship's was very interesting. After visiting the ship we made our way back to King's Cross. The train was slightly delayed until we got firmly stuck in Newcastle because someone jumped on the tracks in Drem. We got home well delayed.

I did notice that my camera somehow sucked in some dust again. Bah, another expensive repair job. I am never going to buy a compact camera again.
