Demonic London

Got up early to go and see the Tutankhamen exhibition (see extra). It was amazing to see the artefacts from over 3000 years ago. They made the culture come alive. Afterwards we wandered through Hyde Park to check out the Peter Pan statue. Then Oxford Street for some emergency shoe shopping. We then wandered past all the posh shops with bouncers wondering about the stuff they sell. We ended up right in the heart of governmental London. It's all very impressive and grande. It's been ages since I had been there. I noticed in particular that London is in much better nick than Edinburgh or any other town I had been to recently. It is clear where all the money is.
