Trainers

My Dear Princess and Dear Fat Pete,

So this is me commuting. Today was the first day I did it, but I didn't count as a proper commute as it happened at lunchtime.

As you may remember, we were getting whiteware delivered this morning, so I was manhandling a fridge down a set of stairs in the morning and then off to work straight after.

It's no good. I feel like I have mentally disengaged from work. I'm just sick of it. And as the interviews and potential contracts come in, I'm starting to feel just effed off and annoyed that people actually still want me to do stuff. It's just no good. Because the stuff keeps coming.

So I kind of arsed about for the half-day I was there, and also organised an interview with Kiwi Bank on Friday.

Because I was late in, I was also late home, which was a bit rubbish. But I have to say that commuting on the train is not so bad. It has air conditioning and I can usually get a seat. And they have really officious train staff, so I think if we got any rumpty characters, they would be given the hard word, pretty sharpish.

"Rumpty" is a LouLou word, by the way. Tiger takes the piss out of her for using it, but you have to admit you know exactly what she means, right?

S.
