Mono Monday - Looking in..........the Reeds

It was still very windy and gusty this morning, but A and I decided to risk Pensthorpe being open which it was (it was closed yesterday along with the local National Trust properties). It was lovely to literally blow the cobwebs away in the sun. When we got back to the cafe the electricity had gone off (lots of problems locally with the gales), but we were able to have a cuppa as long as we could pay by cash. The photo is taken looking in to the reeds blowing about in the wind and sun.

After Storm Ciara yesterday with its severe gales, rain, thunder and lightening, this afternoon the temperature and wind suddenly dropped and it started snowing! We did see a number of trees down when we were out and about today.
