Still Extremely Windy!!!

Good friends M&M from MK are visiting for a few days. Today G, M and I went for lunch at Cley visitor centre with the intention of walking the circuit afterwards. We made it along the path by the coast road, but when we reached the East Bank it was just too windy to walk safely on it. Undaunted we walked down the side of it which was slightly protected from the wind. Then we stepped out onto the beach with the intention of walking along the shingle to the West Bank, but it started hailing which the wind was whipping into our faces (which actually hurt!). We'd seen the people in my photo briefly go on the beach and then start heading back and we decided to do the same. We're meeting for dinner later where we can catch up properly - it was so difficult to hear in the strong wind today. 

So in the last three days we've had severe gales, heavy rain, thunder and lightening, snow and hail. I'm hoping we don't get a plague of locusts tomorrow for our second day with M&M!
