Misty in Ambleside this morning but clear in Kendal. A goldcrest was in the bushes by the recycling banks at Morrisons. Not often I see one. 

When we got home the cloud base had lifted a little but an afternoon walk took me back into it. It was clearing quickly as I descended but the camera was safely in my rucksack in case I slipped. Back down at the stile where the path meets the road a dog was waiting (see extra). His owner said he's very good at sniffing out treats that other dog owners are carrying. I occasionally carry bird food but never dog treats!
