Swan Lane in Grasmere leading to the Swan Hotel. The summit behind isn't called Swan Pike!

A day of rain and sleet with a bit of snow and sunshine. I sat in the the car for a while taking photos through the wet windscreen until the weather improved. Then along to the Gingerbread Shop (no purchases made) and a spur of the moment decision to walk up behind 'The Swan' to look at the new bridge on the route to Alcock Tarn. The previous one was destroyed by Storm Desmond in 2015 and has only recently been replaced.
