Early Morning Otter

The winds finally have eased, although still breezy.  Mostly cloudy and dull all day, the odd sunny spell around lunchtime, and then a few showers. 

I've been working on the museum desk all, and starting to see a few tourists arriving for Lerwick Up Helly Aa.  Not the busiest of days, but steady enough.   Met up with mam for lunch.  A quiet evening, some walkies with Sammy, and then off to work in the pub later. 

I spotted an otter on my arrival to work, by the time I got the camera out, a passing dog had scared it away.  It soon made a quick appearance when the dog had gone, but seems like I had the wrong settings, and caught more of a blur, than a good photo.  It's been a while since I've seen a Otter in the dock at work, so a pleasant surprise.  Taken at the Shetland Museum, Hay's Dock, Lerwick.
