Postie at Mail
Gales continue to blow, and a dull day. Some light showers this evening and tonight.
I've been working in the museum office all day, and mostly working through photos. Mad dash after tea, and headed for my early shift in the pub. A few around tonight to keep me busy. Walkies with Sammy, and now feet up by the fire.
I was down the road at lunchtime, and a fine walk along the Sands of Mail. It was a breezy walk, but the sea wasn't doing much, wrong earth for waves. So the most exciting thing I saw, was the postie out on his rounds. Passing this house as a bairn on my bike was always scary, there used to be a collie that chased us. You had to lift you legs high on the crossbar, so he wouldn't bite your feet, and hope you gained enough speed to pass quickly! Taken at Mail, Cunningsburgh.
