Drama over the Dents du Midi.
We wanted to see the sunset from this viewpoint but there was so much cloud that this looks almost monochromatic as the snow front was coming in. Look large to see the parchwork fields of snow in the Rhone Valley. You can really see where the Rhone Glacier passed down towards Geneva from this point. It was at least minus 10 again and we did not hang about for long as the wind started whipping the snow off the trees, biting into our cheeks.
There were a few lovely warming moments afterwards, with a "verre d'amitiée" - glass of wine between friends, before returning home.
Have a great weekend everyone and no doubt there will be lots of snowy shots looking at the weather forecast for GB and Europe!
