Eye to Eye

Where's My Refection Gone?

At the end of Lake Geneva is a natural harbour, where usually you can see lots of water birds swimming about near the edge. Today the edge of the lake was frozen solid and this tree looked like it was bowing over to try to find its image which is usually there. You can see some wind blown snow on the ice further back between the tree and boats.

On the way there I had to cross the Rhône Valley which yesterday's blip was looking down on. This is what it looked like. You can see that there was not a lot of life out in that cold air.
