Sunset on the Thames

We drove to Marlow in Buckinghamshire today to meet Charlotte and Chris, Tamzin and Ray and Mits who's Charlotte's friend, for lunch.  The others were meeting for a 5k walk before lunch, but we felt it would be too long to leave the boys, so we said we'd meet them at the restaurant at 1pm.

It was a 2 hour drive, but fortunately the traffic was kind to us and we arrived in Marlow at 12.30pm so had time for a stroll along the Thames before going for lunch.  It was great to see everyone again and we had a lovely couple of hours together before having to hit the road again.  We strolled back along the Thames to where we'd parked Bertie, and were in time to see the sun setting over the river.
