Glen Massan
This lonely glen never fails to delight, and I'm sure I've blipped it before. Today we didn't get out till mid-afternoon (a funeral at 1pm held us up) and it was already too late for the sun to reach the glen as we bashed up the road through the gorge and emerged into the open area that is the head of the glen. It was very cold, and the snow that had completely vanished down in Dunoon lay quite thickly on the fields and hillsides.
I took a series of photos, which I shall put on flickr, but chose this one for the blip because of the delicate pink tinge at the edge of the clouds.
