Afternoon sun

These blips are very weather and scenery dominated, but ..... This photo was taken from the old road between Puck's Glen and the gates of Benmore Gardens, looking west towards Glen Massan. Despite the sun it was only -1C and in the east wind felt much colder. We had chosen this walk as being relatively sheltered.

Now, at midnight, the wind at the front of the house made it hard to close the door I rashly opened, and the 'feels like' temperature is apparently -7C.
