I want to ride my bicycle...

Apparently we didn't have a great night last night. Both boys were yawning by lunchtime and I didn't want to get up at all this morning!

Muddled through the morning, and made it out to a toddler group in the afternoon to give the boys a change of scenery. They had a good time, I saw old friends, the Bear decided this bike was the best place to climb up and sit to eat his biscuits (he practised climbing up and climbing off quite a bit until he was happy that he wasn't going to fall on dismount again!), the Bean got stuck right in playing and doing his storytelling thing. Bear was wrapped up in the meitai while we waited for a lift home, and did what I have been waiting for him to do - nursing in the wrap! Hurrah!! Of course he fell asleep which made getting him into the car a little tricky but we managed. Got home and wrapped him straight back up and walked into town with Bean on a mission to get peaches in brandy. Really pleased that the Bean decided to come with me! Was lovely having his company. And amusing too. He told the lady at the checkout all about us! He also asked to buy his chocolate lolly himself (with my money of course).

I was sent away to bed when we got back, to have a power nap!! I was more tired than I realised, and was falling asleep at the table. Bear polished off a banana while I was asleep and then still managed to chomp his way through a selection of tidbits at dinnertime. Bean is still happily trying grown-up food, this evening he even ate a piece of broccoli mixed in with mashed potato, gravy and roast beef. Incredible. Mum is completely amazed at how much he's progressed over the week! Really hope we can keep this up when we go home. Finished off the christmas pudding afterwards, and was in bed not long after that :)
