Feeling a bit bereft having waved off our eldest daughter this afternoon.  What l needed was a good walk and thankfully the sun (and then the moon) showed face before retiring below the horizon leaving this lovely glow.  I do hate it when the house empties after a special week of family time.  These days it is so rare to have time together at home and  it has been very special.
