Evening...

This evening I drove out into the country to visit friends and to give them late Christmas gifts. It was lovely and relaxing to catch up with them. I stopped at the Opawa River on the way home to photograph the evening sky. The mountains in the background are part of the Richmond Range. Keith was happy to stay home in charge of the kittens who are keeping us on our toes. They are great fun and Maisie the dog loves them. She thinks they are her puppies and washes them and tries to pick them up. She gets quite agitated when they zoom up a pergola and trees. She whimpers as she looks up at them... Very sweet.
