Early Sun on Toi Toi....

The delicate feathery fronds of the native Toi Toi sway gently in the chilly early breeze. Recent rain has recharged the Taylor River aquifer and water flows in what were dry stretches of the River bed again. There was bright sunlight but a chilly breeze when Maisie and I walked this morning. A low key day for me as I currently have a flu-like illness. A bonus this afternoon was a visit by the James Family. They are Kaiteriteri camping friends of ours. It was lovely to see them.
