Useful things I wasn't taught or didn't learn in 6 years at Art College No:637.
How to fold corners when stretching a canvas.
In all fairness I didn't do a painting degree. What I did do is too complex to explain.
But I taught myself this week with the aid if Youtube College.
I also taught myself how to make labels on my upgraded Word. It all takes so much time...but how did I ever learn anything before the internet? I know I did cos it didn't exist when I did my Schooling, but I'm darned if i can remember how.
I was trying to teach myself how to do labels and getting into one of those ranty why haven't they responded to my training requests this is total time inneficiency mentality and getting nowhere. So I left it.
When I returned it was all perfectly clear and straightforward.
It's good to learn when to give up on things totally and when just to give a bit of space and go back afresh.
It's good to learn how you learn best.
I'm still learning. Which is a good thing.
