Sophie On Ice

It's Sophie's birthday today so Tess, Chris & I took her presents down this morning. After a very excited opening session, Sophie had decided she wanted an (indoor) picnic lunch at home, followed by a repeat of last year's birthday treat, ice skating at Weston-super-Mare.

Here she is, sporting the tutu with built in fairy lights that one of Kate's friends gave her, very pleased with the fact that this year she was big enough for proper ice skates.

Just as we did last year, we kept up the ice theme with a visit to a local ice cream parlour, then it was back home where we left her playing happily with her new toys.

She said she'd had a great birthday.
