Happy Birthday Sophie!
It's Sophie's 6th birthday today and, as we are all isolating, we weren't able to see her in person so we had various video calls with her during the day. This one was taken by Kate this morning during our first call while she was opening our presents*. As all the ones I took of the Zoom screen came out grainy, I trust I'll be allowed a bit of poetic licence in the circumstances!
One advantage of self isolation was she was able to spend the whole day at home with Mummy & Daddy and they had a great time playing with her new toys, having a party tea, etc. We joined them again for a birthday quiz and cutting the birthday cake. The terrible extra shows the cake looking like it was going up in flames - good job Sophie's got a lot of puff!
We spent the rest of the day pottering around the house and walking lengths of the garden: covered over 3 miles in an hour!
Today's lockdown LP was Traffic's Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys. This track, Many A Mile To Freedom, seemed appropriate to our situation, even if we've only got 2 days of self isolation to go!

* it's not a real dog by the way!
Edit: for a better look at the cake - and Sophie - take a look at the second extra Kate has just sent me.
