A Lot o Rain!

A windy day, and it's poured down all day.  Eased this evening, but still the odd shower.  Today's weather has been as depressing, as like the election results this morning.

First day off for five days, and with the poor morning, I stayed in bed a bit longer.  It's not much of a day to do anything, so a lazy day about the house.  I picked up niece Elise from school, and took her home to Laura's.  A few cups of tea, and an anagram later, I headed home.  Finally got out with Sammy this evening, and managed a good hour walk.  Feet up with a movie now.

On our way to Laura's, we stopped off to let Sammy out for a run.  There's been some amount of rain this past few days, and the burn here has been high.  I've certainly seen it higher, with it flowing over the bridge.  Elise on the right, and Sammy taken a chance crossing.  Taken at the Laxdale Burn, up the Nort Peat Hill, Cunningsburgh.
