Irn Bru at Isles View

The gales calmed over night, but still a breezy day, calm tonight.  It's been heavy showers throughout the day, clearing this evening.

I've had a busier day working on the museum desk.  I've been trying to finish off loose ends, and there was also two events to set up for.  Plenty of walkies with Sammy this evening, and also plenty of lazy time on the sofa.

I went out for lunch, and it was raining!  I headed down the road, and still raining.  The most inspiration I found was in a bottle.  I've always been a big Irn Bru fan, and this old recipe is far better as the modern twist.  After opening the cap, the sweet sugary smell hit me, and the taste brought me back to a bairn, also being in a glass bottle, reminded me when we used to drink Irn Bru in the old Sodastream bottles.  I hope I can get my hands on some more, yummy!  Taken at Isles View, Greenmow, Cunningsburgh.
