Hurry Up

Although there was no more snow during the night it was very cold this morning and I knew the snow would still be fairly thick on the hills. So I decided to give the dogs a treat and took them down to the river where we had a wonderful walk and Cara even ventured in for a swim! I did take some photos but the light was disappointing, nothing like the bright blue sky of yesterday. Therefore I chose to blip this cameo, snapped earlier through the kitchen window, of two brightly coloured goldfinches queuing up for a peck at the nyger seed.

The temperature is already at zero and will go lower tonight but at last it is seasonal.
