On top of a cold, cold world.

Back to Yoga this morning and the session was full of positive thoughts, vibes and moves bidding farewell to the old year and food excesses of the festive period. My only problem was that, before we started, one other member of the group had been out walking his dog before the class and proudly told us that he had been able to walk above the freezing fog into sunshine and the resulting inversion over the snow covered hills was awesome! So guess where my mind was during the meditation!

Home, booted and spurred and the dogs and I set off only to be met with freezing fog everywhere with not a single glimpse of the sun no matter how high we climbed! Nonetheless we enjoyed a very bracing walk as it remained at probably minus two or three. The frozen snow crunched satisfyingly under my feet and everywhere the snow clung hard to branches and bushes, often in strange shapes as it had begun to thaw in the weak sunshine yesterday only to be re-frozen during the night. The view across the valley to the hills was non existent due to the fog and the walk felt strangely unfamiliar which added a bit of frisson. Cara is providing the only colour available in the entire landscape today.

For those of you who checked my blip earlier I have now changed the image as this one is much more representative of the day. I have put the earlier one into Flickr here and there is another in the same genre here......sorry. I'm a Libran and not brilliant at making decisions!

I apologise for being remiss and forgetting to thank you all yesterday for all the comments and stars for Monday's blip and the additional photos that day, particularly the Snow Boots.

I hope you all stay warm.
