Temporary Frost

I'd gone out early for a walk along the Wyrley and Essington Canal, capturing some subtle sunrise colours as I walked.  I didn't quite get the firework colours I was expecting when I first looked up at the pre dawn sky, but it was still very pleasant for all that.

On the way home I had an errand to collect some medicine for the cat and was taken by the frost on the leaves piled up on the kerb where I parked.  I'd normally have posted the sunrise, but with the Wide Wednesday theme being temporary, and the weather changing soon after as rain showers swept in, I decided to share this image instead.  It might not look like a wide angle, but at 17 mm it certainly was.
